Background: Immunology

Research line: Dr. Rosana Pelayo has worked for the last 16 years in the research of lymphoid cells and associated pathologies, particularly acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). The projects she has conducted include the study of the differentiation capacity of leukemic precursors, microenvironmental factors that may be involved in the disease progression and the competence of leukemic cells with normal hematopoietic cells co-existing in the leukemic bone marrow.
